Two Classical Events for young children

The Royal Albert Hall in London has set aside dates for two fabulous classical events designed to introduce children to the joys of classical music and instruments.

The first event, the Classical For Kids: Virtuoso Violin will take place on Thursday, 2 June 2016 in the Elgar Room at 10.30 am and repeated at 1.30pm. This hour-long relaxed event welcomes everyone including babes-in-arm, babes-in-buggies, etc. There is even an offer of subsidised tickets for eligible families, so concerns relating to costs are already taken care of.

The second event, My Great Orchestral Adventure, takes place during the school half term – Wednesday, 26 October 2016 – at 1.00pm and again at 4.30pm. This is also a relaxed performance though primarily aimed at kids aged 3+. It introduces children and their adults to a symphony orchestra. Apparently, “there will be singing, dancing and best of all, a full symphony orchestra to bring our adventure to life. You’ll help us decide which way to go by voting which way we should travel.”

Both these events will sell out very quickly, so if interested, don’t waste time overthinking it; go book your tickets.
