Fantastic ENO Tosca Day

About 60 home edders spent close to 8 hours in London Coliseum today (Saturday, 01 Oct 2016), the home of ENO Tosca, and it was a beautiful experience.

Most of us arrived by 10:15am and the day started with a registration at 10.30am at which point we were split into 3 groups for the three one-hour workshops – building a portrait using collage; singing practice with music from Tosca; and storytelling of Puccini’s story.

At 1:30pm, it was time for a joint session where we all gathered for a Q&A session, went backstage, and had a singing turn on the stage.

After a late lunch, it was time for the dress rehearsal at 3pm. What an amazing performance! What a perfect introduction to opera for the kids!

We finally left the theatre a few minutes after 6pm. Perfect day.

Big thanks to the home educating parent who organised the event and to the theatre for having us.
