Free Geology Day


The Institute of Making is holding a public open day this Saturday (5th November 2016 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm).

Pop in FREE of charge to:

  • See a meteorite that is composed up of a rare type of iron, not found on earth.
  • Play with naturally magnetic sand from California.
  • Make your very own fake rock.
  • Learn the difference between real and fake diamonds.
  • Discover the melting points of rocks.

No booking is required.
