We’re doing Opera: Passion, Power and Politics!

[Edit 05 Oct 2017 – Fully Booked]

The very lovely Victoria And Albert Museum (V&A) has agreed to let in a group of home educating families alongside ‘traditional’ schools on its dedicated ‘Schools Day’ to enjoy the ‘spectacular’ new exhibition Opera: Passion, Power and Politics free of charge. I will start collating (already interested) names straightaway as we are only allowed a ‘small’ maximum of 30.

According to the V&A, the show is “…told through the lens of seven premieres in seven European cities, this immersive exhibition takes you on a journey through nearly 400 years, culminating in the international explosion of opera in the 20th and 21st centuries.”

[If you don’t make the list, educational groups can arrange visits on other days at a hugely discounted rate. Ordinary members of the public pay about £19 per adult and those aged 12-17 pay £12.]

I can’t wait!
