Life on Mars

The young people had another wonderful day at the Royal Institution in Mayfair, London today.

Titled ‘Life on Mars’, pre lunch had the children working on coding and testing the rovers whilst post-lunch focussed on analysing the samples of soil and other minerals ‘found’ on Mars.

The day covered Physics, Chemistry and Biology plus teamwork, maths and communication.

The next lab session – Crash Testing – at the same location happens in about a week’s time. Looking forward to it already.

By the way, ten elements including Chlorine, Argon, Boron, Magnesium and Sodium were discovered at the Royal Institution.
