New Books Launch

The following was received earlier in the week:

My name is Julia Golding, a children’s author. I thought your members might be interested in a special free event I am holding at the Royal Institution on 29th January to launch some new books on a science theme. There’s a non-fiction series, a six part history of science, friendly to all faiths and worldviews, that I’ve written in collaboration with Andrew Briggs, Professor of Nanomaterials at Oxford University, and the artist, Roger Wagner, as well as my novel, The Curious Crime, set in a fantasy science museum. You can find out more information on my website at the links below.

It would be lovely to see you and your members there. Please do pass on to anyone else you think might would enjoy the event, but we would ask RSVPs to keep an eye on numbers. It should be great fun to be talking about science and fiction in a venue that was home to Michael Faraday and where Coleridge lectured.

If you are interested, I can send you an invitation that gives the practical details.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas

Julia Golding
