UK Parliament Education Centre has set aside 15 to 16 December 2022 for Home Educating groups to visit Parliament and learn about what it does and how it dies it. The educational visit is FREE.
The children will engage with a variety of self-led activities about how elections work, how laws are made and discover ways in which they can get involved with the work of Parliament. They will also tour the UK Parliament building.
Activities on the day include:
Elections and Voting: Elections, Voting, What’s Important to You
Law Making: Stages of a Bill, Explore Bills, Debating Bills
Your Voice: Contacting my MP, Petitions Corner, Campaigning
