Free Photography Workshop

Teens aged 14 – 19 can attend one of the Wellcome Collection’s Saturday Studio ‘Digital Illusions’ workshops tomorrow (13 April 2019). Participants will learn how to take photographs that deceive the eye in this workshop inspired by the ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ exhibition, exploring the psychology of magic. They will work with DSLR cameras, lighting and editing software to stage and print their images.

All materials will be provided.

Location: Level 1. On entering the Wellcome Collection, head up the stairs or take the lift, then follow the signs. The address is 183 Euston Road, London NW1 2BE.

Times: First session – 14.00 to 15.30; Second session – 16.00 to 17.30. Be at the location at least 35 minutes beforehand to sign up early as places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Note: Each workshop has 25 spaces available and can’t be prebooked.

Other Matters: If visiting the museum with a parent, guardian or support worker, they are welcome to do the drop off at the Studio. If they must be in the session to support a participant, contact Wellcome in advance of the session (020 7611 2222) or on the day.
